🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: ROAD CLOSURE IMPACTING ACCESS TO THE HIGHER WAY CHURCH 🚧

Please be advised that a portion of Almeda Genoa Road at Highway 288 is currently closed to eastbound traffic through May 27, 2026.

⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️:
You CANNOT make a right turn from the 288 feeder road onto Almeda Genoa Road (near McDonald’s). Almeda Genoa Road is now one-way during construction.

Alternate routes to access The Higher Way Church:
➡️ COMING FROM PEARLAND / 288 SOUTH AREA:
Exit W. Orem and turn RIGHT onto W. Orem.
Proceed to the stop sign and turn RIGHT onto Cityscape Ave near the gas station.
Continue on Cityscape to Almeda Genoa Road and proceed to the church entrance.

➡️ COMING FROM HOUSTON / 288 NORTH AREA:
Exit W. Orem and turn LEFT onto W. Orem and proceed under Highway 288.
Turn RIGHT onto Cityscape Ave at the stop sign near the gas station.
Continue on Cityscape to Almeda Genoa Road and proceed to the church entrance.

➡️ FROM EASTBOUND ALMEDA GENOA ROAD:
Turn LEFT onto Hycohen and enter through the BACK GATE.

➡️ FROM BELTWAY 8 WESTBOUND:
From the Beltway 8 Feeder, veer RIGHT onto the Almeda Genoa Road service road and enter through the FRONT GATE.

Be sure to allow a few extra minutes for detours.

Day 26 of 40 Seek. Grow. Surrender

Jesus teaches us that spiritual growth depends on an open heart.

When we lean in and listen, God pours out greater understanding. But when we ignore His voice or when our hearts grow hardened, we can lose our awareness and begin to miss His voice and will for our lives.

"Whoever has ears, let them hear." Matthew 11:15

Don’t tune the Lord out today.
Instead, stay open, stay sensitive, and respond to what the Holy Spirit is showing you.

Lord, help me to hear You clearly and follow You faithfully.
Amen.

Day 23 of 40
Seek. Grow. Surrender Fast

Jesus asked His disciples to stay awake and pray, but they fell asleep.

Sometimes we do the same when we should be alert and awake, we find ourselves tired, distracted, or even worn down.

Jesus reminds us to keep watch and pray because our spirit may be willing, but our flesh is weak. Prayer keeps us close to God and helps us stand when we feel weak.

Let's stay close, stay awake and stay prayerful to God.

God’s Got You.

Lord, help us stay awake in spirit and near to You. Amen.
