What’s in your Tumbler?
Luke 18:35-43
Pastor David Yim

Are we desperate for Christ despite all the noise around us? The blind man in today’s passage cries out loud for Christ to recover his sight, despite the disciples rebuking him. What does our tumbler hold? Do we have an old, lukewarm faith with doubts and concerns, or a fresh, hot faith inside us? Seek His promise and follow Him faithfully. Cherish the gift He has given you.

What it takes to follow Christ
Luke 9:57-62
Pastor David Yim

Often times, we fall into a misconception that I did a good deed to God just by coming to Church on Sunday. However, in our daily lives, we put different priorities over our walk with God. We even add excuses of taking those actions for God, before we follow Him. God is satisfied when we truly follow God and walk with Him daily. Don’t put a hesitation upon His invitation. Take up His cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23).

Run to Win
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Dr. David Crosby

You need to have a goal to win in your Christian life. What is your goal? Purposefully live out your life, with a goal that is crystal clear and constant. Have self control, stay tuned to what you let in your soul. Be disciplined and stay consistent in your actions to build the inner life. Lastly, be confident in the spirit of God. Not you and yourself, but our God who enables.
Take the time and energy to win. To be the best of who we can. Glorify Christ in everything. Let your life count for Jesus. Strive for Jesus.

Believe in His Sovereignty Pt.1
Romans 8:18-27
Pastor David

Life being a Christian is not easy. We want instant results, immediate answers, quick solutions; not just from the world, but from God. However, God wants to show you sufferings time to time. And when you endure that, you experience God’s presence like none other. Stay patient. Fix your eyes on Him, to heaven, and rely on Him. He will take care of you.

Jehovah Jireh
Genesis 17:15-17
Pastor David

Reflecting 2024 and looking forward to 2025, we know the Lord has and will provide things we do not expect. Instead of doubting and questioning, let’s trust in the God that provides. When we walk closely with God, we may get tested more than ever — but God is Good and He will provide.

Last Sunday, Pastor David shared “We are Unique” from Psalm 119:73-74.
We were made by God’s hands, and in the most unique way possible. We all have our own looks, talents, personalities — and there is a reason for it. He intentionally created you the way you are. With His purpose, to be His servant.
However, we struggle with the image of who we are these days. To accept and love the image of ourselves, we need to forget the failures we carry around within ourselves. Believe in the gifts God has given us. Don’t fall into Satan’s whisper, stand your ground, and faithfully walk your path with God.
God has made you so uniquely perfect in His eyes.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”(Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬)
