Mumford & Sons have spent years writing about struggle, hope, doubt, change, and what it means to become someone new. What might their music have to say about growing spiritually?

Join Matt Russell for The Gospel According to Mumford & Sons, a new series at The Crossing.

You can step away from the church without stepping away from God.

There is a deep hunger in all of us to know God, to find freedom, and to learn how to truly live. Sometimes, that begins when we stop reducing faith to having all the right answers and start asking what it means to actually live a spiritual life.

Because even when someone feels far from religion, they may still be searching for God. They may still be growing, asking questions, seeking freedom, and longing for something deeper.

Our spiritual lives are not defined only by what we believe, but by how we live, how we love, and how we walk alongside one another. 🤍

What happens when the culture becomes a greater influence on the church than the church is on the culture?

As the world changes, it can be tempting to reshape our faith around what feels familiar or comfortable. But our identity and mission are found in Christ, not in the world around us.

The church is called to be a faithful presence, living out the way of Jesus in the midst of a changing world.

What a beautiful morning to worship together and share in communion. May we go from this table as the ambassadors of Christ's grace we're called to be.

See you Sunday!

What if belonging comes before believing? Maybe faith isn’t about having all the right answers or being certain about everything. Maybe it starts with simply showing up, being part of a community, and learning to trust.

Jesus said, “Come and see.” Not “come and figure it all out.”

Maybe spiritual growth is learning to live with the questions, stay open, and love people along the way.

Worship reminds us that our faith is rooted in something bigger than ourselves. Through voices lifted in song, the sound of the organ, and the words we share together, we are reminded of God’s love and invited to carry that love beyond the walls of the church. May the music we offer in worship continue to shape how we live, serve, and love others.

When we experience God’s love, it changes the way we see ourselves, the way we worship, and the way we love others. Our faith isn’t meant to stay within us. It’s meant to overflow into the way we live, serve, and care for the people around us. Because love isn’t just something we receive. It’s something we’re called to share.

Faith outside of love is nothing.

Our identity as people created in the image of the God who is love is meant to be shaped by that love. When we receive God’s love, it begins to overflow into the way we serve, care for, and respond to others.

Not because we want to be seen. Not because we feel obligated. But because love has become who we are.

“How can I not share love? That’s all I have in my life.”

And that kind of love starts to transform everything.

Labels can make it easy to dismiss one another. But what if our faith calls us to something deeper?

A conversation about politics, faith, justice, and what it means to live out our baptismal vows in every part of society.

A timeless hymn. A simple prayer. A lasting reminder that we never walk through life alone. Grateful for the beauty and truth of this hymn. 🤍

This Sunday, we were reminded through “Amazing Grace” of the hope, mercy, and grace that bring us together. What a beautiful moment during our Town Hall meeting. 🙏

Are you all heart or all hands?

Some of us are always chasing the next spiritual high. Others are constantly serving, doing, and giving but have lost touch with the heart of faith.

Faith isn't just about what we feel, and it isn't just about what we do. It's about a living relationship with God that changes how we live.

Grateful for a congregation that worships, dreams, and discerns together.
