✨ Please join us in welcoming Laura to the Diocese of Texas! 🤍

Laura Gallegos joined the diocese Monday, June 1, to serve as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer/Registrar on the Finance Team.

Laura is an experienced executive administrative professional with more than 15 years supporting senior leaders across higher education, energy, and nonprofit organizations. Her background includes executive support, board coordination, and cross-functional project management. She brings strong organization and communication skills to this position.

Most recently, she served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Goodwill Houston. Originally from St. Louis, Laura graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri Baptist College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Writers Certificate. She minored in Psychology.

In her role at the Diocese of Texas, Laura supports the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Linda Riley Mitchell, CPA.
