This month at Chosen To Be Transparent, we’re confronting the battle that sometimes nobody else can see the struggle between who we’ve been and who God is calling us to become.

😨 Fear.
🤯 Overthinking.
⏳ Procrastination.
🗣️ Excuses.
😔 Insecurity.
🚧 Self-sabotage.

Sometimes the greatest thing standing between you and your next season is the “in-a-me!” 👀

This SlepTember, it’s time to WAKE UP, ALIGN, and MOVE FORWARD! No more sleeping on your purpose. No more allowing fear to delay obedience. No more letting yesterday’s version of you interfere with what God wants to do NEXT.

🔥 WHEN THE MESSAGE TURNS INTO A TESTIMONY! 🔥

Sunday was a special moment at CTBT for our very own Wayne! Not only did he step forward and deliver his FIRST MESSAGE, but our bass player also put the bass down and let the Lord use his VOICE! 🎸🎤🙌🏾

🎶 “He’s a wonder in my soul… His name is Jesus!”

And when you’ve lived through enough to KNOW that God has been faithful, you don’t just sing the words, you sing your TESTIMONY! 😭🙌🏾

“In spite of all you’ve been through… You made a way when I could see no way… YOU MADE A WAY!”

From delivering his first message to ministering through song, Wayne reminded us that when God gives you something to say, sometimes it comes through the Word, and sometimes it comes through worship. 🔥

We thank God for what He is doing in Wayne and for every gift He continues to pull out of those connected to this ministry. This is only the beginning! 🙌🏾

You are a gift to this ministry and we thank God for you on this special day and always!

🔥 TRUSTING GOD THROUGH THE PROCESS 🔥
📖 Genesis 37:5

This past Sunday was a special moment at Chosen To Be Transparent as our very own Deacon Clark delivered his FIRST sermon! 🙌🏾 And he left us with a question worth carrying throughout the week:

“God has a plan…but can He trust you with it?” 👀🔥

Deacon Clark Green reminded us that sometimes the problem isn’t that God’s plan has failed, it’s that we’ve gotten out of alignment with the plan.

He shared his own testimony of having to recognize that his priorities were out of order. Money, family, and everything else had taken precedence while God had been pushed to third.

And then came the revelation:

“It wasn’t God that failed me. God had the perfect plan for me. But I was out of alignment, so I couldn’t fulfill His plan.” 🔥

WHEW! 🙌🏾

Before God could take him where He wanted him to go, there had to be submission. There had to be alignment. There were things in his heart that God had to deal with.

Because having the vision is one thing…but being spiritually positioned to walk it out is another.

Joseph had the dream in Genesis 37:5, but the dream was only the beginning. There was still a PROCESS between what God showed him and what God ultimately fulfilled.

So here’s the question for all of us this week:

Can God trust you with the plan He has for your life?

Maybe the prayer isn’t, “God, why haven’t You done it yet?”
Maybe it’s:

🙏🏾 “God, align me with what You’ve already planned for me.”

Help us celebrate Deacon Clark for allowing God to use him and for delivering his very first sermon! 👏🏾🔥 We are excited to see what God continues to do through him!
