Reimagining How We Reach the Lost

06/05/2026

Day 5: The Great Commission Lives

Reading: Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 1:8

Devotional: Jesus' final words before ascending were not a suggestion but a commission: Go into all nations, teaching and baptizing. This mission is not reserved for professional ministers—it's for every believer. You carry within you the Word that can speak life into someone contemplating death, hope into someone's despair, and light into someone's darkness. Jesus promised, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." The end has not yet come, which means your mission continues. The Holy Spirit empowers you to be His witness wherever you are. What will you do to share the good news today?

Reflection: Who in your sphere of influence needs to hear about God's love and saving grace?

Application: Commit to sharing your testimony with one person this week. Pray for divine appointments and courage.

Closing Prayer for the Week: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, help me to reimagine how I see You, myself, and others. Open my eyes to recognize Your presence in unexpected places. Give me boldness to love, joy to serve, and courage to lead. Use me as Your witness to a world that desperately needs Your light. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 4: Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, Lead Courageously

Reading: 1 John 4:7-21; John 13:34-35

Devotional: God is love, and we are called to reimagine how we demonstrate that love in a broken world. Loving boldly means loving across racial, social, and economic barriers. Serving joyfully means finding joy in meeting others' needs, whether across the street or across the ocean. Leading courageously means stepping out in faith to share the gospel in unconventional places—barbershops, parks, even pubs. The same God who created the universe is calling you to be His hands and feet. When we love without limitations, we reflect the Trinity's perfect unity and love.

Reflection: How can you love more boldly, serve more joyfully, or lead more courageously this week?

Application: Choose one specific action in each area: love, serve, and lead. Commit to doing them this week.

Christ's Visitation Through a Desperate Man

06/03/2026

Day 3: Entertaining Angels Unaware

Reading: Hebrews 13:1-2; Matthew 25:31-40

Devotional: God shows up in unexpected ways and through unexpected people. The homeless person, the struggling stranger, the hurting soul—Christ may be visiting you through them. Always be ready, for you never know when you're entertaining angels or encountering Jesus Himself. The divine visitation doesn't always come with fanfare; sometimes it comes with tears and desperation. When you serve the least of these, you serve Christ. Keep your spiritual eyes open to recognize God's presence in every encounter. Every person you meet carries the image of God and may be a divine appointment.

Reflection: When have you encountered God through an unexpected person or situation?

Application: Look for one opportunity today to serve someone who crosses your path, recognizing Christ in them.

Day 2: The Trinity at Work

Reading: Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:1-5; Matthew 28:16-20

Devotional: In the beginning, God the Father created, the Word (Jesus) spoke light into darkness, and the Holy Spirit hovered over the chaos. This same Triune God is present in your chaos today. When darkness surrounds you, remember that the God who separated light from darkness has the power to bring order to your confusion. Jesus commissioned us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—recognizing that all three persons work in unity for your redemption and transformation. You serve a God who is actively involved in every aspect of your life.

Reflection: Where do you need God to speak light into your darkness today?

Application: Identify one area of chaos in your life and invite the Trinity to bring divine order.

You Are Created in God's Image

06/01/2026

5-Day Devotional: Reimagining God's Presence

Day 1: Created in His Image
Reading: Genesis 1:26-31; Psalm 139:13-16

Devotional: You are fearfully and wonderfully made, created in the image of the Triune God. When the world speaks lies about your worth, remember that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit declared you "very good." Your value is not determined by circumstances, past failures, or others' opinions. God shaped you with purpose while you were still in your mother's womb. Today, stand confidently in this truth: you bear the divine image of your Creator. No matter what challenges you face, you are God's masterpiece, designed for His glory.

Reflection: What lies have you believed about yourself? How does knowing you're created in God's image change your perspective?

Application: Write down one negative belief about yourself, then replace it with the truth of who God says you are.

Understanding the Trinity

05/31/2026

God showed up in an unexpected way this Trinity Sunday—through a stranger in a parking lot contemplating ending his life. This divine encounter reminded us that we must reimagine how God appears in our world. He doesn't always come as we expect, but He always comes right on time.

We serve one God revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Created in His image (Genesis 1:26), we are called to love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously. The Great Commission isn't just for first-century disciples—it's for us today. Jesus said, "Go into all nations...baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" and promised, "I am with you even to the end of the age."

What will you do to let this fallen world know that Christ lives in you? How will you reimagine your witness? Whether in coffee shops, parks, or everyday encounters, God is calling us to share His love without limitations.
