What a wonderful and Spirit-filled Mother’s Day service we had yesterday at church! 🌸

The message from Isaiah 49:14-15, “The Hands That God Notices,” was such an encouragement and blessing to all the mothers present. We thank God for His unfailing love and tender care for His children.

We also rejoiced as one came through Christian education and four little ones were brought for baptism. What a beautiful reminder of the words of Jesus: "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:14 🙌🏾❤️

Our hearts are full of gratitude for all the Lord is doing in our church family. To God be all the glory!

This past Sunday was truly special as we celebrated the widows of our church. Scripture calls us to care for widows, and we are so blessed to have a Pastor who faithfully leads by example. It was a beautiful time of honoring, love, and reminding these incredible women how valued and cherished they are.

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” — James 1:27 (KJV)

Friendship continues to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing up, serving, and loving in action. Grateful to be part of a church that lives out its faith in such a meaningful way. 🙌🏾

The Lord is blessing and growing our congregation! Just last week, someone was reunited with us, and Friendship gave another brother the opportunity to answered the call to preach the gospel.

Sunday after Sunday, we gather at 4812 Bennington to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But this past Sunday was especially meaningful, as we celebrated Resurrection Day. From the very beginning, our youth blessed us with a powerful play depicting the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. During the morning service, our Pastor preached from Romans 8:32, posing the question: “What more could He give?” We then closed out with our 5th Pastor, who delivered a message from Matthew 28:6 titled, “As He Said.”
We were truly blessed from start to finish. Glory to God—He is Risen!🙌🏾

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice so that we might have eternal life. On this Good Friday, we remember how He was crucified—how He bled and died for us. Now that is love.
