2. How often do you focus on other’s past and everything they did wrong or are doing wrong?

Let us aim to focus on the testimony or pray for the testimony that is in process.

Next Friday evening I will be doing a Bible study in my neighborhood! The info is below.

⭐️On August 18th I will be having another Bible study. This summer I did the, “Lead Me Study.” Next Friday I will be in 1 Samuel 8 in verses we hadn’t touched on yet.

Summer Bible Studies are back! It’s been a bit since Covid stopped these, but I will start having them again. If you are in the Pearland, Manvel, Iowa Colony, Alvin area, this might be a good option. I’m holding them in the Meridiana community at 4003 Meridiana Parkway, Iowa Colony, TX 77583. There is a glass building overlooking the water. Hope to see you there. All you need is a Bible, journal, and pen. Each one stands alone, so don’t worry if you can’t make all of them.

I just love the second time in Joshua when the Lord tells him to be strong and courageous. This time he adds the word VERY. It’s a word of emphasis that alerts the need to level up and dig deep in the area of courage. The first time it was mentioned, it was in a cause and effect scenario. This time it is a directive followed by another directive. The other directive is to follow law, mediate on the law, and don’t stray from it. It signifies that being strong and courageous do not bring guaranteed success. Instead, following God does.
