Houston Jewish Student Union The mission of JSU is to create and grow a community of Jewish teens in public and private schools!

JSU facilitates regular club meetings in public schools, providing food for the body and soul. Programs include speakers from a variety of Jewish organizations, discussions on timely topics of interest to the participants and interactive activities. (Bagels, pizza, and other goodies always provided!)

In addition to the regularly scheduled school club meetings, JSU sponsors activities outside of s

chool including Retreats, holiday parties, community service projects, Friday night dinners, and other exciting events. There are currently seven clubs in Houston:

- HSPVA
- Carnegie Vanguard
- Bellaire
- Lamar
- Energy Institute
- Memorial
- Xavier Educational Academy
