Consider this your official text the group chat, grab a friend, and come hang out with us reminder because Met Women’s Gathering is happening TONIGHT!

We’ll have Hach Ki coffee ☕, snacks (because obviously), time to connect, and I’m teaching for the first time at Gathering—which I am equal parts excited about and trying not to think too hard about. 😂

And I really believe tonight matters.

We’re talking about what it looks like to be the kind of women who don’t just attend community, but actually create it—women who notice people, know their stories, and live in a way that reminds someone else, You matter here.

Bring your friend, your neighbor, your mama, your coworker—the woman you keep saying you need to hang out with and then never actually put it on the calendar. 😂

Not the quick “How are you?” followed by “Good! Busy!” before either of us has even stopped walking. 😂 The real kind.

What do you need more of in this season?

There’s something powerful about being honest enough to name what we need and realizing we’re probably not the only woman in the room who needs it.

So give us one word in the comments. No explanation needed. No making it sound spiritual or put together. Just honest.

Before this week asks anything from you, remember what God has already said about you. You are His workmanship before you are His worker.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Notice the order. We belong to Him, we are being shaped by Him, and then we walk into the good work He’s prepared for us. Not the other way around.

You don’t have to accomplish enough to earn God’s attention or compare your calling to another woman’s.

You get to work hard, love people well, serve faithfully, lead, create, parent, show up—and do it all from a place of already belonging to Jesus.

We don’t work for His love. We walk from it.

Carry that with you this week!

We can make “living on mission” sound much more complicated than it is. Most of the time, it looks remarkably ordinary.

It’s noticing the woman who’s gotten quiet. Learning someone’s story. Following up on the prayer request. Inviting her to coffee. Opening your home. Sharing what God is teaching you. Having the courage to talk about Jesus when the opportunity comes.

It’s showing up in the places you already go with your eyes open to the people God has already put there.

Because discipleship doesn’t only happen inside the walls of a church.

It happens over coffee and across kitchen tables. In offices and neighborhoods. On sidelines and in school pickup lines.

God can use your ordinary life to help someone else follow Jesus. So as you go about your day, pay attention. There might be someone right in front of you who needs what God has been growing in you.

We all want to find “our people.”

But biblical community usually isn’t discovered fully formed. It’s built slowly through ordinary acts of courage, consistency, hospitality, and care.

It’s learning her name and remembering it next week. Asking, “How are you?” and staying long enough to hear the real answer. Following up on the prayer request. Scooting over and making room at the table.

And over time, those small moments become something deeper.

We start carrying each other’s burdens. Reminding each other what’s true. Opening God’s Word together. Praying for one another and asking the harder questions. We notice when someone is missing, celebrate when God is moving, and keep pointing each other back to Jesus.

That’s how we grow. Not just beside each other, but because we’re walking with each other. And eventually, the woman who once needed someone to make room for her becomes the woman making room for someone else.

Sometimes we’re busy praying, “God, give me community,” while He’s quietly inviting us to help create it.

Let’s be women who make room.

Just because you can’t see the way forward doesn’t mean God isn’t already at work.

Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God is not limited by what looks impossible to us. He can bring new life in barren places and make a way where we can’t see one yet. Maybe you’re in a season that feels a little like a wilderness right now. You’re praying, waiting, wondering what God is doing or where He’s leading.

Don’t confuse uncertainty with His absence.

The God who makes ways in wilderness places is still faithful. Stay close to Him. Keep your eyes open. And trust that you don’t have to see the entire path to follow Him one step at a time.

Well, Met Women sure knows how to show up. And apparently . . . how to bring snacks. 😂

What an incredible morning kicking off our Fall Bible Study! The room was FULL of women opening God’s Word, meeting new friends, and diving into Daniel together.

This is what we love, growing in our faith and finding community while we do it. And we’re just getting started.

If you missed this week, jump in next Wednesday! It is absolutely not too late, and you haven’t “missed too much.” Just bring your Bible and come join us.

We’ll save you a seat. And judging by this week . . . somebody will probably bring you something to eat too.

Some women are carrying more than anyone knows.

The decision that has to be made. The child they’re worried about. The tender marriage. The demanding job. The unanswered prayer. The thousand little things they keep handling because somehow
 they always do.

Today, we want to pray for her. đŸ€

Father, meet the woman who feels stretched thin. Give her wisdom for what needs her attention and peace to release what doesn’t belong in her hands.

Remind her that faithfulness does not mean carrying everything.

Surround her with women who notice, ask the second question, pray with her, and help carry the weight. Quiet the lie that her worth is measured by how much she can accomplish, fix, manage, or hold together. And when her strength runs out, remind her that Yours does not.

Keep her close to Jesus. Help her receive Your grace and trust You with what she cannot control.

You see her. You know her. You are with her.

In Jesus’ name, amen. đŸ€
