Yesterday marked the beginning of the Diabetes Prevention Program at Christ the King Episcopal Church in partnership with Gulfton Home Community, and our hearts are full of gratitude.

We are so thankful to open our doors to a program that supports healthier lives, education, and encouragement for our community. Seeing neighbors come together with hope, commitment, and care for one another reminds us of the true meaning of ministry and partnership.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this first gathering possible — the organizers, volunteers, health leaders, and every participant who took this important first step. We look forward to walking this journey together toward wellness, support, and stronger community connections.

Please keep this program and all participants in your prayers as we begin this meaningful work together.
