As many of you know, On October 15th, James Valdez was seriously injured in a forklift accident and spent several weeks in the ICU with multiple injuries. He is now in an in-patient rehabilitation center, continuing a long road of recovery. Rachel has remained by his side through every step.

James and Rachel have been faithful members of Family Church for nearly 30 years. Rachel has long served in our school office, and James has faithfully served as an usher and a willing helper in many areas of ministry. They are always here, always serving, and always blessing others.

We are deeply grateful to the Lord that James’s life was spared and that he continues to improve. But as you can imagine, the recovery process comes with both physical and financial challenges. As a church family, we want to come together to bless James and Rachel - just as they have been such a blessing to all of us.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help relieve some of the financial burden during this time. If you feel led to contribute, you can do so through the link below:

Please continue to keep the Valdez family in your prayers - praying for strength, healing, and peace as James recovers and Rachel continues faithfully by his side.
