"Hard Sayings"... Every believer I think eventually reaches a moment when the teachings of Christ collide with personal comfort, expectations, or desires. John 6:60–64 captures one of the most sobering scenes in Jesus’ ministry: disciples walking away because His words were “too hard.”

“Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, ‘This is a hard saying; who can understand it?’” (John 6:60).
