To all the moms — Happy Mother’s Day.
Today we celebrate the women whose love reflects something beautiful about the heart of God.
The moms who wake up early and stay up late. The moms who pray endlessly for their children. The moms who sacrifice quietly when nobody sees. The moms who carry burdens, wipe tears, give wisdom, offer comfort, and keep showing up day after day.
We celebrate biological moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, spiritual moms, grandmas, single moms, stepmoms, and every woman who has lovingly poured herself into the lives of others. Your work matters more than words can express.
Thank you for the meals made, the rides given, the sleepless nights, the constant encouragement, the discipline, the patience, and the countless unseen acts of love. So much of what you do may go unnoticed by the world, but it is seen by God, and it leaves an eternal impact.
And today, we also want to acknowledge that Mother’s Day can be painful for many.
To those grieving the loss of a mother…
To moms who have lost a child…
To women longing to become mothers…
To those carrying complicated family relationships or deep hurt…
You are not forgotten today. You are deeply seen and deeply loved.
Jesus is near to the brokenhearted, and He is gentle with those who grieve. Even in sorrow, there is comfort in His presence and hope in His love. You do not carry your pain alone.
We thank God for every mother and mother figure in our church family. Your sacrificial love points us to Christ more than you know.
