We’re excited to welcome Rev. Rachel Sciretti as our guest preacher this Sunday!

We often talk about “the church’s mission.” But what if we have it backwards?

The church doesn’t have a mission. The mission has the church. That’s us — the mission’s church.

This Sunday, Rev. Rachel Sciretti will invite us to explore how reshaping our language can begin to reshape our mindset about who we are and what God is calling us to do.

And here’s a hint: it starts in the heart. ❤️

We’ll also gather around the table to celebrate Holy Communion, remembering the grace that brings us together and sends us out into God’s mission.

So proud of our Fair Haven Food Pantry, helping so many families each day. Please give if you can.

As universal school lunch access shrinks and SNAP benefits are reduced, more families are left wondering how dinner happens tonight.

In Harris County, that's nearly 40% of households facing food insecurity. More than double the national average.

We are blessed to have the Fair Haven Food Pantry to help address these food insecurity needs among our Houston neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Churchwide Breakfast & Town Hall! It was a beautiful morning of fellowship, conversation, and excitement as we looked toward the future of our Gessner Campus.

The future is already here, and we’re grateful to be dreaming about it together. ✨

Churchwide Breakfast & Town Hall | Gessner Campus

“The future is already here.”

Join us Sunday, August 30 at 9:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall for a churchwide potluck breakfast, fellowship, and an important conversation about the future of our Gessner Campus.

Together, we’ll hear about plans for a potential Capital Campaign and how we can better use our facilities to serve the community that is already here—from our Day School families to the thousands of neighbors served through our Food Pantry and other ministries.

This is more than a conversation about buildings. It’s about mission, hospitality, community, and what God is calling us to do next.
