Loving God,

Thank You for reminding us that Your invitation is open to everyone. Just as Jesus welcomed those who felt overlooked, judged, or unworthy, help us remember that we are all loved and called into relationship with You.

Teach us to choose mercy over judgment, compassion over exclusion, and understanding over fear. Strengthen our faith when life feels uncertain, and help us trust that Your presence is with us in moments of grief, struggle, healing, and hope.

Open our hearts to see the dignity and worth in every person. May we be a community that reflects Your love by welcoming others, offering kindness freely, and extending grace as generously as You extend it to us.

Give us the courage to follow where You lead and the wisdom to share Your love with the world around us.

The Justice Ministry & the Houston LGBTQ+ Political CAUCUS are hosting a free training with Harris County Elections officials to equip YOU to become an appointed Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar (VDVR).

In order to encourage voter registration, Texas election law provides for County Voter Registrars to designate individuals to assist in the registration of eligible persons to vote. These individuals are appointed as Volunteer Deputy Registrars and operate under State rules and the supervision of the County Voter Registrar.

Becoming a VDVR is a meaningful way to contribute to the democratic process and civic engagement. By registering voters, you ensure that more voices are heard in elections, promoting a diverse and representative democracy.

RMCC kicks off Pride season with Limitless — The Pride Kick-Off, a free community celebration rooted in this year's theme of Limitless Grace, Limitless Hope, and Limitless Love.

Join us for vendors, a petting zoo, Giant Yard Games, a BYOT Tie Dye station featuring a special edition Resurrection Bandana, Care Access services, ministry booths, a foam party for the kids, food, and a dunk tank fundraiser — with quite a list of willing participants!

This is more than a church event. This is RMCC opening its doors and showing up for our community — our neighbors, our families, and everyone who belongs here.

The event will be held in the Activities Building.
