Praise The LORD!!
Our mission and vision focus at True Holiness Church, In Our Lord Jesus Christ, is to follow the vision GOD has given us, modeling after JESUS CHRIST, who said, ‘The poor ye have with you always’ (Mark 14:7). We are called to serve the least of these, as our Lord states: ‘Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me’ (Matthew 25:40).
Our focus is NOT on large buildings and outward appearances.
Matthew 24:1-2 states:
‘And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.’
Instead, we return to the works of CHRIST—feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the imprisoned, and caring for those in need. As written in James 2:5, ‘Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?’
As members of this ministry, whether bishop, pastor, leader, or saint, we wholeheartedly commit ourselves to this mission, ensuring that no one among us is without food, shelter, love, or support. We believe the church should not only preach salvation, but also demonstrate CHRIST’S compassion through action. We dedicate ourselves to winning souls, teaching repentance, baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ, and preaching the infilling of the Holy Ghost. While we desire miracles, signs, and wonders, we are also extending our hands to the poor and the afflicted, both in our communities and around the world.
As Acts 4:32 states: ‘And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.’ We believe the body of CHRIST should walk in unity, love, sacrifice, and mutual care.
In John chapter 6, when the disciples questioned how such a small amount could feed so many, the LORD already knew what He would do. Though there were only five loaves and two fishes, JESUS blessed it, multiplied it, and fed the multitude. Likewise, no matter how little we may have, if we place it in the hands of GOD with the right heart and spirit, He is able to multiply it for His kingdom.
This is not a temporary assignment, nor should it be seen as a checklist or something to boast about. It is a lifelong commitment to CHRIST’S mission until His return. May the grace of the LORD JESUS be with your spirit.
From the Presiding Bishop and Prophet,
