On Saturday, September 9, 2001 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Evangelist Cynthia Carter heard, while in prayer, thousands of souls weeping, moaning and groaning because they were eternally lost. While in the Spirit of the Lord she heard, They aren’t going to come to the Church; the Church must go to them. A few days later on September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers in New York was bombed by terrorist and
literally thousands of souls were lost. In addition and prior to this event, the Lord revealed to Evangelist Cynthia Carter that a flood was coming similar to the flood of Noah. People would literally lose their homes and loved ones would be separated from each other by flood waters. This vision came to pass. On June 6, 2001, the heavens opened and out poured nearly the whole City of Houston in Texas was under water. Evangelist Cynthia Carter realized that God was revealing the urgency of soul winning. These events were true signs from God to move quickly in the efforts of winning souls. On September 15, 2001, WUTS Ministries was born in the den of Evangelist Cynthia Carter. Evangelist Pamela Horton, Evangelist Ayasha Johnson, Bro. Marlon Johnson, Bro. Archie Louis and Minister Sylvia Swain all shared the vision and helped bring to birth Word Under The Stars Ministries, Inc. better known as WUTS. WUTS is a complete ministry designed with its primary focus on outdoor evangelism and with the aspiration of networking with neighborhoods, churches, schools and businesses to accomplish its purpose.
