Purpose
Our purpose is to provide a Christian atmosphere for parents to leave their children and, at the same time, give children opportunities to develop spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically. Ages
We accept children ages 6 months through 4 years. Age is determined as of September 1. Classes are divided as follows:
Infant 6-11 months
Toddler 12-24 months
2’s class 2 ye
ar olds
3’s class 3 year olds
Preschool 4 year olds
Student-Teacher Ratios
We believe it is important for students to have one-on-one attention from teachers. Therefore, we have set limits on the number of students in each class to allow more teachers per student than required for state-regulated daycare facilities. Curriculum
Our play-based curriculum is tailored to each class's abilities and interests and includes activities that target gross and fine motor skills, language and cognitive development, and developmentally appropriate academic training. Art, music, and sensory activities occur in every classroom. Schedule
The infant class attempts to follow the individual child’s schedule as much as possible. Other classes follow a more scheduled routine. Typical class activities include Bible stories, weekly chapel, free play in the classroom and gym, outside playground time, reading or “circle” time, sensory activities, lunch, and naps (for nursery through 2-year-old classes). Special Event Days
Special event days are an exciting part of our program. These include:
•Holiday Parties (e.g., Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Parties, Valentine’s Parties, Etc.)
•Special Holiday Activities (e.g., Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Etc.)
•Child/Caregiver Activities (e.g., Mother’s Tea, Grandparents’ Luncheon)
•Activity Days (e.g., Pajama Day, Bike Day)
Information about each activity is provided to parents in advance, and we invite parents to help with these activities by bringing necessary items and/or attending. Field Trips
The 3- and 4-year-old classes take at least one field trip during the school year. Prior destinations include HEB Signature Store, Freeman Memorial Library, Bayou Wildlife Park, Kemah Aquarium, and Houston Zoo. Transportation is provided by teachers and volunteer parents, who also serve as chaperones. Parents must sign a permission slip allowing their child to attend field trips. The whole school will participate in a petting zoo on the church grounds. Tuition
Monthly tuition for all classes is $200 and due on the first of the month.
*A discount of $5 per child/per month will be given to families with multiple students enrolled in our program. Registration Fee
We charge a non-refundable $150 registration fee. How to Register
You must complete a registration form and pay the registration fee. We will then reserve a space for your child.
