Today, the Thrive Church family joins the Mendoza family in mourning the passing of Jose Ascension Mendoza Jr.
Our hearts are deeply saddened by this tremendous loss, yet we rejoice in the hope we have through Jesus Christ. Mr. Mendoza was a man whose love for his family, strength of character, and enduring legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
To his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends, please know that you are not walking through this season alone. We are praying that the God of all comfort will surround you with His peace, strengthen you with His presence, and carry you through the days ahead.
As Scripture reminds us, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” (Psalm 116:15)
Though we grieve, we do not grieve without hope. We celebrate a life well lived and a race well finished.
