Dear Mother, give us today that experience of love that our hearts long for, make our house a warm home where there is an atmosphere of love, peace, and joy, and the grace of home, knowing that we are always loved by God. Happy Covenant day!

Happy Feast day of the Assumtion of Mary!

On August 15th. we celebrate the Assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven. A mystery that invites us to reflect.

Today the Church celebrates 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 to her cousin St. Elizabeth. Closing the month dedicated to Mary in this way constitutes a powerful call to live the love that the Mother of God makes to each one of us: as she went out to meet her cousin, we too must go out to meet those who need us, carrying Jesus within us.

Mother, you speak your Fiat without hesitation and are allowed to bear the Savior beneath your heart. As deaconess you silently prepare the sacrificial gift according to the Father's will. Draw us deeply into your mission; let us be the Redeemer's deacon.

“Our Lord celebrated St. Joseph’s life by coming and being obedient to him, allowing him to raise Him in His human nature. God the Father honored St. Joseph by calling him to take Mary into his home; by calling him to take the child Jesus and His mother to safety in Egypt; by calling him to not be afraid.

Joseph was able to respond to all of these calls because he had two things we all need: faith in his God, and love in his heart.

The greatest way we can honor St. Joseph in our lives is to be like him - to have faith, to love, to listen and to act. To be honest in everything that we do. For when we help, teach or guide someone else, we are doing for them what Joseph did for the child Jesus.”
