Sometimes the struggle doesn’t change—the way we see it does.

What people call your problem, God can use to reveal your potential.

Your past, your pain, and the names placed on you don’t get the final say.

God sees beyond the struggle. He sees the overcomer!

Sometimes when we’re unsure of who we are, we try to control everything around us.

Jacob spent his life grasping-grasping for the blessing, grasping to be first, grasping for what was outside of him. And even when God spoke a new identity over him, the old Jacob kept showing up.

Maybe you’ve felt that tension too. God is calling you into something new, but you keep reaching back for who you used to be.

You don’t need a tighter grip on everything around you. You need to trust who God says you are.

What a night!💚

Last night was powerful. Our Restoration Worship Night was filled with worship, unity, and the presence of God, and we’re so grateful for all that He did in the room.

A huge thank you to Joe L. Barnes for leading us so beautifully in worship, and to every servant leader who showed up not only to serve in the morning, but came back to serve again for the evening. We couldn’t do it without you!

And thank you to everyone who came ready to worship AND generously donated canned goods. Together, we collected 1,213 canned goods for the Waltrip Pantry, which has not been functioning for the last few years.

This is what community impact looks like!
A church that doesn’t just gather in a building, but pours into the community around us. What a blessing it is to love, serve, and make an impact at the high school we currently call home.

We’re just getting started!🔥

God can’t bless who you pretend to be!

Jacob had to stop pretending before he could receive the blessing. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the pain itself—it’s being honest about who you are, what you’ve been through, and the things you’ve been trying to hide.

The moment Jacob stopped pretending and said, “I’m Jacob,” everything changed.

You don’t have to hide your story from God. He already knows your name.

This is the Sunday the Lord has made! Week 5 of Privilege of Pain gave us a WORD!

Pastor Manny reminded us through the story of Jacob that sometimes the struggle isn’t meant to destroy you, it can reveal who God is calling you to become. Jacob wrestled with God, walked away with a limp, but he also walked away with a new name.

What a reminder that even in the wrestle, God is still working!
