SOMETIMES YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND JOB, JOSEPH, OR MOSES UNTIL LIFE MAKES THEIR STORIES PERSONAL.
There are some Scriptures you read… and then there are some Scriptures you LIVE.
Job teaches us what it means to lose what we never imagined living without and still trust God.
Joseph teaches us what it means to be betrayed, misunderstood, falsely accused, rejected, and forgotten—yet refuse to allow bitterness to destroy the purpose God placed inside us.
But Moses teaches us something else:
When God gives you an assignment, obedience will sometimes require BOLDNESS.
There will be moments when God tells you to stand, speak, confront, lead, or move forward—and everybody will not understand it. Everybody will not agree with it. Everybody will not celebrate it.
But you cannot spend your life asking people for permission to obey what God told you to do.
Moses had to stand before Pharaoh and say, “Let my people go.”
Imagine the courage that required.
Sometimes obedience means standing when it would be easier to sit down.
Speaking when silence would keep everybody comfortable.
Moving when others want you to stay where you are.
And somebody reading this needs to hear this today:
DON’T LET WHAT YOU LOST MAKE YOU QUIT.
DON’T LET BETRAYAL MAKE YOU BITTER.
DON’T LET REJECTION MAKE YOU QUESTION YOUR PURPOSE.
AND DON’T LET PEOPLE’S DISAPPROVAL MAKE YOU DISOBEY GOD.
Job’s loss was not his ending.
Joseph’s pit was not his destination.
Moses’ wilderness was not wasted.
And whatever you are facing right now does not have to be the final chapter of your story.
Maybe you’ve been crying where nobody can see you.
Maybe you’re carrying grief while still encouraging everybody else.
Maybe you told the truth and became the problem because you refused to remain silent.
Maybe God is requiring something from you that is costing you relationships, comfort, popularity, or acceptance.
KEEP YOUR HEART PURE—BUT KEEP WALKING.
Be humble enough to let God correct you, but bold enough to obey Him when He has made the assignment clear.
Job reminds us: You can survive the loss.
Joseph reminds us: You can survive the betrayal.
Moses reminds us: You can survive the opposition.
And all three remind us:
GOD CAN STILL USE YOUR STORY.
So if you’re in the pit, the wilderness, or the middle of a storm right now—DON’T QUIT IN THE MIDDLE.

But God is still writing. 🙏🏾🔥
