Here’s a recap of this past January where we commenced and concluded 21 days of prayer; a time where we intentionally seek God in prayer as we believe for Him to move in powerful ways. A practice designed to help us grow in our relationship with God and with each other as a family in Christ.

We also took this time to celebrate together and honor several members and leaders in the congregation.

Dear God,

All authority is Yours, but You have given authority to leaders to guide us. Today, we ask that You give our spiritual leaders Your discernment on how to meet people’s needs as they continue to glorify Your name and encourage the Church.

“Moses’ father-in-law replied, “What you are doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him. Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied.””
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭18:17-23‬ ‭

“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”

We Thank God for how He used the voices Brother John LaRose and Sister Roseline LaRose to minister to our hearts this morning!

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

Help us rejoice the Lord for the Baptism of Brother Jeff Cajou and Sister Manoucheca Cherenfant!
May this baptism be the solid foundation that anchors and supports their lifelong relationship with God!

While this church may have started from humble beginnings, it is amazing to see how it has brought together such a large faith community over the years both locally and abroad. May this anniversary of our church be a sign of its continued good work and blessed ministry. We Praise you oh Lord for all that you have done!

"Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them"
Mark 10:14-15
