"Forgiveness isn't denial."

Forgiveness doesn't require you to ignore what happened or pretend it didn't hurt. It means choosing to release bitterness while trusting God with what only He can handle.

This week's message reminded us through the life of Joseph that we can forgive without minimizing our pain, and we can extend grace while still walking in wisdom.

God's healing begins where our surrender starts.

Our Young Adult Bowling Night was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and genuine fellowship. It was a joy to see new friendships formed, familiar faces reconnect, and our young adults simply enjoy being in community with one another.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success. Moments like these remind us that church is more than Sunday mornings—it's building relationships, encouraging one another, and growing together in Christ.

What a beautiful Father's Day at CWOA! 💙

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible fathers and father figures who lead with faith, love, strength, and wisdom. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the prayers you pray, and the example you set for your families and our community.

To every father we honored today, we pray God's continued favor, strength, and blessings over your life. May you continue to lead with courage, love with compassion, and walk boldly in the purpose He has for you.

Today, we honor and celebrate Juneteenth — a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, hope, and the enduring strength of a people who refused to give up.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved African Americans in Texas finally learned they were free. Juneteenth stands as a testament to the importance of justice, equality, and the continued pursuit of liberty for all.

As we reflect on this historic day, let us celebrate the progress that has been made, honor those who came before us, and remain committed to building a future rooted in unity, faith, and love.
