The Fort Bend Prayer Breakfast reminded us once again of the power of prayer and the strength that comes when our community gathers with a shared purpose. There is something meaningful about neighbors, leaders, and friends lifting up the people and institutions that shape life in our county. Bob Page delivered a message that encouraged us to see ourselves as a team in Christ and to look for simple ways to make a difference for someone.
Our time together also highlighted an important truth. Even when we bring different perspectives, we can still see one another as people made in the image of God and work together for the good of Fort Bend County. Prayer helps center us on that foundation.
The prayers offered for our schools, healthcare and civic leaders, elected officials, first responders, and churches were thoughtful and sincere. Hearing so many voices lift up our community was a powerful reminder of the unity we share.
We are grateful for every sponsor, volunteer, and table host who helped make this morning possible. And we want to thank Brandon Baca, Suzanne Whatley, and Jacey Jetton for their leadership of The Table Fort Bend. Their heart for this community guides everything we do.
