Peaceful and joyful greetings to all of you. As you know our Spiritan Fundraising Gala will be this Sunday, September 30th at Kim Son Bellaire in a humble effort to build the formation house in Vietnam to educate and to train our seminarians as well as to provide a living community for them. Dear friends on the road and at home,
we ask that you would pray for the soul of our dearly departed Monsignor Phillipe Le Xuan Thuong. Most of us in JAMfest Ministries grew up at the parish of Christ the Incarnate Word. Cha Thuong oversaw the building of the church, and despite his conservative views allowed the church to have contemporary instruments and music at mass. He supported us in our ministries. JAMfest Ministries owes much to the church and to Cha Thuong. He continued to serve the church even though his health had been failing for as long as I've known him. A great servant of God. Please join us in lifting up a prayer for Cha Thuong.
