With gratitude we celebrate what God has done among us.
Northside Episcopal Church has completed its season of ministry. We celebrated our last Eucharist October 19, 2025.

Over the past six years, Northside Episcopal Church has been a place of prayer, service, and love in Houston’s Near Northside neighborhood.

Though this chapter is closing, God’s story continues—in the lives we’ve touched and the work ahead in each of our lives.

Thank you for being part of our journey.
May God bless you and keep you always in love./

La Iglesia Episcopal Northside ha concluido su tiempo de ministerio.
Celebramos nuestra última Eucaristía el 19 de octubre de 2025.

Durante los últimos seis años, la Iglesia Episcopal Northside ha sido un lugar de oración, servicio y amor en el vecindario Near Northside de Houston.

Members will celebrate our final Eucharist Sunday, October 19, at 10:15 am. / Celebraremos nuestra última Eucaristía el domingo 19 de octubre a las 10:15 a.m.

We will give thanks for the life of this community, honor our memories, and express gratitude for the grace we have known through our relationships, as we mark our transition to our next callings. /

Going forward: Our community will meet together for three more Sundays at 10:15 with music. On Oct 12 and 19, Estela Lopez, part of the diocesan mission amplification team, will guide the community through discernment and decision making after church.

We prayed a meaningful good-bye as Rev. Carissa celebrated her last Eucharist at Northside Episcopal Church. Thanks to all for the abundant joy and endless love that is Northside Episcopal.

We were honored to have Bishop Andy Doyle lead us in worship on Sunday and confirm our newest members. We especially thank our friends from Trinity Galveston who joined us, lending a beautiful vouke of the St. John’s Bible to the altar and occasion. And what a feast that followed!
