Most of us have read the Parable of the Talents and focused on the servant’s confession: “I was afraid.”

But have you ever stopped to consider the master’s response? He didn’t call the servant untalented. He didn’t call him unqualified. He didn’t call him incapable.

He called him: ⚠️ “Wicked and slothful.”

Why? Because fear had moved beyond a feeling and become a decision. The servant wasn’t judged because he lacked talent. He was judged because he buried what had been entrusted to him.

How many callings are buried beneath fear, excuses, and delay?
