To the Greater Gateway Missionary Baptist Church family. Please join me and the first family in mourning the lost of a true warrior and PASTOR, who labored in the trenches of the gospel for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The invitation was sent and accepted by the faithful and late Rev. Charlie Cooper (PASTOR) of Greater New Hope Baptist Church. He will be missed by me and the family. I know we must all go when the call is sent, so for that we say Amen. But being mortal we hurt and cry inside. The word say that unless a grain of corn fall into the earth, it can not live again, Charles Cooper lived for the awesome and almighty GOD and his faith grew stronger as he grew older in the gospel. His deep voice will be missed down here but welcomed in the heavenly choir. He never stopped working on the building always keeping it looking beautiful. He loved his wife and family until the end. The journey up and thru to the third heaven will be part of his crown. Sickness here will not be tolerated there in the New Jerusalem, city of no more, no more pain and no more suffering all howdy howdy and no more good byes. His first lady Sister E.Cooper should be proud of her soul mate and pastor. Praying that New Hope keep the faith that was exemplified by this man of God as you all call a new Shepherd for the flock. Please remember that absent from the body present with the Lord. Be blessed.
