Super personal post: Back in May, my wife was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer and it has been one truly emotional roller-coaster. For some goofy reason, we were kinda quiet about it, but the word is now out, and I'm glad that it is because I am blown away by the kindness and love that have been shown to us from our family and friends (and from friends that are just like family). The way people are rallying around her and praying for her is nothing short of AMAZING!!! We love and appreciate each of you.❤️💜

They have even started a GoFundMe account to help us with some of the expenses that we will be facing over the next few months. Someone told me, "people can't help if they don't know". So I'm putting the info out here if any of you would like to help. Thank you Mike, Gloria, Donna, & Daryl, for your thoughfulness; and thank you in advance Facebook friends and family.

Prayer can be a full-contact sport. Joshua laid face down on the ground, tore his clothes, and threw dust on his head to convey his distress to God. Whatever you want to bring to God in prayer, try something different—lay down on your face while you pray. Then stay there and listen for a while.

Calling all prayer warriors, I have a lot on my mind and heart.....so much that I have been praying about for quite a while, and even more currently so, I figure getting an online prayer circle going wouldn't hurt. Much love to everyone who reads this. I believe that when someone asks you to pray for them, you pray because prayers are free and should be given wholeheartedly! I decided to do this today because I'm standing in the need of prayer and so many others are as well. Let's pray for each other today, regardless of who or what your spiritual foundation! All prayers needed right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my family and friends just for moral support. I did it for a friend and you can too. You have to copy and paste this one, NO SHARING. Praying for several families and people in need! Hey married people! Strong Tower Bible Fellowship would like to challenge all the married couples to a 7-Day happy marriage challenge. I'm sure some of you have seen it on Facebook already, but we would like to just invite everyone out there that's married to post a picture every day for 7 Days of yourself and your spouse. You're welcome to challenge other people. Everyone can join the page so that we can celebrate all the couples out there, not just the ones we know. And stay tuned for more marriage minded stuff.
