The objective of the Men’s Ministry is to disciple and equip the men of Calvary (for the unseen) with sound biblical teaching that influences the whole man toward Godly living. Luke 6: 48
We are committed to using every ability God has given us to be the best that we can be, regardless of what we do or where we are. Men often live isolated from the active fellowship of other Christian men. “Iron
sharpens Iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17. The principle given here is that men need the encouragement, teaching, fellowship and modeling of other Christian men. The men’s ministry is one of many ministries at New Mount Calvary. However, only men can become members of the men’s ministry. The men’s ministry complements the overall ministry of New Mount Calvary while focusing specifically on spiritual growth opportunities, fellowship and building relationships one day at a time with others. The goal of the ministry is to: Bring men to maturity in Christ Col 1:28. What is unique about The Men’s Ministry? The men’s ministry is unique in that it meets men where they are {in their spiritual walk} in order to bring them to where God wants them in the areas of:
*Being disciples
*Developing spiritual relationships with other men
*Learning Godly habits and how to deal with sin that men commonly struggle with
*Learning how to be a leader, at home and in the church
*Learning to raise children and love their wives
*Learning to serve the Body of Christ and exercise their spiritual gifts
