Roberts Testimony:
I became a believer in Christ at 12 years old. I came to understand that my sin separated me from being in relationship with Jesus. I repented through prayer and believed Jesus' work on the cross was enough to cover me. I was baptized in my local church and began devoting myself to him. I was 17 years old when God called me to preach/teach the gospel, I wrestled for a year and
then finally submitted when God made it clear through others speaking into my life. At 18 years old I met with my pastor and he too confirmed my call. I surrendered within my home church and begin following the Lord's lead, opportunities came during my discipleship to lead and teach. In 2003, I partnered with other ministries and began teaching. In the years following I served as an intern, interim student pastor, and in 2006 as student/associate pastor full time while finishing college, and again in 2012 at First Baptist Bonham as student/associate pastor until 2015. This desire to share God's word has grown tremendously inside me over the years and the opportunities have become more frequent. This has led me to step out in faith and become available to churches for preaching/teaching or consulting. Currently, Jenna and I reside in Houston, Texas. We are members at Houston's First Baptist Church and I volunteer teach in our young married couples class. Jenna is a Nutritionist and loves seeing others become healthy through nutrition. We have been married since October 6th 2012, and second to my salvation, she is the greatest gift the Lord has given me. Robert's mission has always been to create an opportunity for churches or ministries of any size to hear the gospel. He hopes to achieve this through teaching God's word clearly and effectively for the glory of God. His secondary mission is to be a resource for The Church by networking, providing pulpit supply, and doing interim work during transitions. Please email to inquire or book Robert.
