Three years filled with prayer, powerful worship moments, healing, tears, struggles, sacrifices, and victories. Some nights with few people, some days with add seats to the service. Three years of God’s faithfulness. Three years of the Father’s prophetic words coming to pass.

I stand in awe of the goodness of God towards His bride. This is not a celebration of our accomplishments but instead HIS greatness through the years. Gratitude and thanksgiving is the only thing we can bring to our King! I have no idea what’s next but I know what’s happened and I marvel at the beauty of the work of the Father! Can’t wait to celebrate with the family this weekend!

I’m constantly reminded of God’s love for me by how you love me. 13 years of laughter, tears, victories, and defeats and I’m convinced of this: there is no one on the Earth that I’d rather do life with than you. Thank you for being my peace when life is going off the rails. Thank you for drying my tears at 3am when I’m falling apart. Thank you for never allowing me to feel alone while walking thru isolated seasons. And thank you for being more than a spouse and more than a partner…you’re my very heartbeat of existence. Forever, for always, FOR LOVE.

This sabbatical wasn’t as long as I wanted, but it was more impactful than I could have ever imagined. I didn’t just spend time with family, I sat in the middle of legacy. I sat at the feet of my father-in-love and gained my strength back. I laid my head on the shoulder of my mother in love and received my second wind. I watched my children play cards, eat pizza, and laugh with their Granny and PaPa. Disconnection from the hardships of life are necessary and I didn’t realize just how much until this trip.

I return home with a new vigor, a renewed perspective, and a fresh “yes” for the Lord. Navigating life from a leadership seat is not for the faint of heart. You see more of your weaknesses and flaws than you ever thought you’d see. But this is why God gives us sabbath rest. As Pastor says, “Sabbath is not a reward for hard work. Sabbath is a gift that precedes work and enables us to work. As with God’s Grace, rest is never a reward; it’s a gift.”

I’m reminded that my strength was never the solution. His grace is. My strategy was never the goal, His will is. I officially feel enabled to WORK, not from my own strength, but from God’s grace. …prepare yourselves. We’re getting ready to fly into the future!

Every year, you transform. Every season you evolve. And with every birthday, you remind the world just how blessed we are to have you. Words can’t express how humbled I’ve been to be able to watch how God has used you in this past year and just to know that you haven’t even seen the best of YOU yet is mind boggling. You truly are the epitome of grace and beauty. WE CELEBRATE YOU MY LOVE!! Happy birthday to the most amazing, beautiful, anointed, sexy, patient, and kind woman walking the earth. I LOVE YOU!!
