Good morning,
As we begin this day, let's turn our hearts to the wise words of Ecclesiastes 5:2. May this verse guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions as we seek to honor God in all we do.

Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.
Ecclesiastes 5:2

Prayer: As I come before You today, filled with awe and reverence, I ask for forgiveness for times I've spoken hastily or carelessly in Your presence. Teach me to approach You with humility, weighing my words and speaking from a place of sincerity and truth. Help me to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and always eager to honor You. May my words be few, but deeply felt, and may my heart always reflect Your grace and love.

Good morning,
As we begin this day, take a deep breath and remember that no matter what lies ahead, Jesus offers you a joy that is not dependent on circumstances. His joy is with you, ready to fill your heart.

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
John 15:11

Prayer: Thank You for the gift of Your unshakable joy. Even in moments when life feels uncertain or overwhelming, remind me that Your joy is alive in me, steady and true. When my heart feels heavy, lift my eyes to You. Let Your joy be the song that carries me through the hard days and the light that shines in the good ones. Help me to share that joy with others, Father. Let it spill over in the way I love, in the words I speak, and in the peace I offer. May Your joy transform every part of my day and be a reflection of Your love to the world around me.

Good morning,
There’s a kind of worship that doesn’t rise from answers—but from awe. Psalm 145:3 reminds us: we’ll never grasp God’s greatness fully. And yet—He draws near. Let your soul breathe in that wonder today.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.
Psalm 145:3

Prayer: My worship rises not from understanding everything, but from remembering who You are. You are greater than the chaos, closer than the doubt. Vast enough to hold the stars, yet kind enough to hold my heart. Thank You for meeting me in the ordinary—and for the wonder of being fully known and deeply loved by You. Let my soul exhale today. Let praise rise—not from answers, but from awe. You are worthy, Lord—I adore You.

Good morning,
Today, let's discover the restful peace our Shepherd provides in life's chaos.

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.
Psalm 23:2

Prayer: My soul longs for some quiet time with You. Help me find moments of stillness and surrender my worries at Your feet. Guide me to those peaceful places where my spirit can rest. Deep down, I trust in Your perfect plan for me, even when the path seems uncertain. Lead me to that place of rest and renewal, where I can truly recharge. Thank you for being my Shepherd and for always knowing what's best for me.

Good morning,
Today, let’s discover the quiet strength of surrender—and how God transforms it into unexpected blessings.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
James 4:10

Prayer: Sometimes I cling to burdens You never asked me to hold—the need to perfect, control, or force outcomes. Forgive me for complicating surrender when You ask only for my heart. I love You—not because You fix everything, but because You are everything. Thank You for being my anchor in chaos, my peace in uncertainty. Teach me to walk humbly, not in my strength, but in the quiet confidence of Your faithfulness. Turn my striving into stillness, my pride into praise. Let my life echo one truth: You are enough.

National Moment of Remembrance: At 3:00 p.m. local time, Americans are encouraged to pause for a minute of silence to pay tribute to the fallen. May we remember their sacrifice this Memorial Day and always. God bless America.

Good morning,
Today, let's reflect on the overwhelming love of God that surpasses anything we can imagine.

Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.
Psalm 63:3

Prayer: Even when life gets messy and I feel unsteady, I'm reminded that Your love for me is constant and strong. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, no matter what I face. Help me to grab hold of Your love and let it fill me up, especially on the days when I'm feeling empty or adrift. I want to seek You wholeheartedly, just like David did even in the wilderness. Please be my strength, my anchor, my guide. Let Your unfailing love steady my steps and light my path through every season of life.

Good morning,
Today, let’s reflect on what it means to truly find satisfaction—not in circumstances, but in the unshakable love of God.

Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14

Prayer: Thank You for Your unfailing love that satisfies my soul in ways nothing else can. So often, I seek fulfillment in achievements, approval, or circumstances, but only You bring true and lasting joy. Help me to start each day resting in Your presence, trusting that Your love is more than enough. Fill the empty places in my heart, Lord, and let my joy overflow—not because of what I have, but because I have You.

Good morning,
Today, let's reflect on how serving those in need is serving Christ Himself.

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:40

Prayer: Sometimes I get so caught up in my own little world that I miss seeing those in real need around me. Open my eyes today to see as You see. When I encounter someone hungry, lonely, or hurting, remind me that serving them is serving You. Thank You for showing me what true love looks like through Your Son. Help me follow His example - not just with good intentions, but with hands and heart ready to help those who need it most. Let my life today be a glimpse of Your kindness, a reminder of Your hope, and a reflection of Your heart.

These women are who I call the DynamicDuo. Our church administrator is on the left; on the right is the chair of our Music and Worship committee. They work tirelessly to make sure each of our worship services are meaningful for members and visitors alike. From the order of worship to the service bulletin which guides you through the service, they consistently ask themselves “How can we better serve?” This is something that each of us can (and should) ask ourselves too.
