OFFICIAL RELEASE:

On behalf of our Pastor, Bishop W. A. Jenkins, it is my sorrowful duty to announce to the GLM family and friends the passing of our dearly beloved member, Sister Jo Finley.

God has chosen once again to have the trumpet blow to call home one of His own and so we grieve and mourn in the loss of Sister Finley.

Sister Finley was a loyal and faithful member of GLM whose smile, warmth, and love for everyone was evident everyday. Sister Finley was an individual who loved her family, her church, and God.

We have lost a wonderful member of the Greater Law Memorial Church Family but there is solace and comfort in knowing that she kept the faith and has moved on from this world to the beauty of God’s Glory.

The funeral arrangements for Sister Jo Finley are as follows:

The viewing and visitation will be held at Greater Law Memorial COGIC, 4807 Wayne, Houston, Texas 77026, on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m with the Homegoing Celebration Service following at 11:00 a.m.

The final remains have been entrusted to Duncan Mortuary, 5806 N. Wayside Drive, Houston, TX 77028.

Let us remember to keep the family of Sister Finley lifted in prayer during this time of great sorrow.
