O God, on this day you open the hearts of your faithful people by sending into us your Holy Spirit. Direct us by the light of that Spirit, that we may have a right judgment in all things and rejoice at all times in your peace, through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day

As we conclude our Easter season for this year, we also remember that the joy and celebration goes with us throughout the whole of our lives. We are reminded again and again to “Tell them what you have seen and heard” pointing to, and that we are always resting in God’s abiding and steadfast love through Jesus’ death and resurrection and the Holy Spirit.
Please join me in saying thank you to each of our devotional writers for their willingness to share of themselves and their witness to the gospel. I have deeply enjoyed walking this journey of Easter with each of you; that now begins to move into the Spirit’s giving and leading and guiding of Pentecost and beyond.
