As we celebrate the Feast of Creation in Christ this Sunday, and enter into the Season of Creation, I was greeted this morning by a beautiful reminder of God’s continual co-creation with each of us.

A great night spending time with the Candidacy Retreat out at Lutherhill Ministries today; sharing joys and challenges of ministry with candidates for ministry. Then playing guitar at worship together. It was a great and uplifting time. Reminding me of all of the pastors and deacons who gave of their time while I was a candidate myself.

What a great morning!
During worship we commissioned our learning group leaders for our youth and adult Sunday School groups.
And following we enjoyed a great potluck lunch with the Launch of our new Godly Play program led by Deacon Courtney Webb!

This morning we celebrate and send with God’s blessing our children as they prepare to head back to school. It was great to see all of these young peoples’ smiling faces and we are all looking forward to a great year!
