AYC is a weekend gathering of youth called together by Archbishop Joe Vásquez, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, for a time of fellowship, prayer, and growth as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Goodnight, AYC 2026. 🌙❤️‍🔥

What a weekend it has been. New friendships, powerful worship, inspiring speakers, countless moments of grace, and thousands of young people saying yes to Christ.

Over the past few days, we have laughed together, prayed together, walked with Jesus through the streets of Houston, and witnessed the Holy Spirit move in incredible ways. We’ve seen hearts opened, faith renewed, and a generation of young Catholics unafraid to live for something greater than themselves.

Thank you for the memories, the conversations, the prayers, and the reminder that the Church is alive and thriving.

As you head home, don’t leave this weekend behind. Take the joy, hope, and fire you received at AYC back to your parishes, schools, families, and friends. The mission continues long after the weekend ends.

Travel safely, keep Christ at the center, and never forget what God has done here.

WOW. What a historic weekend. 🔥

**AYC 2026** will be remembered for years to come. Thousands of teens came together with one purpose: to encounter Jesus Christ. We witnessed hearts transformed, voices raised in worship, streets filled with faithful disciples during the Eucharistic Procession, and a generation unafraid to live their faith.

This weekend proved one thing: **the Church is alive, and its future is bright.**

Thank you to every teen who showed up with an open heart, every volunteer who served with joy, every speaker, priest, deacon, religious sister, seminarian, musician, and staff member who poured themselves out to make this weekend possible.

The perfect way to conclude an unforgettable weekend. ✝️🙏

Together, we celebrated our closing Mass with **Archbishop Joe S. Vásquez**, giving thanks for all that God has done throughout **AYC 2026**. During the Mass, we also commissioned next year's Youth Council, sending them forth to lead with faith, humility, and joyful service as they begin preparing for the year ahead.

From new friendships and powerful talks to moments of prayer, worship, and encounter, this weekend has been a reminder that Christ is alive and continues to call each of us closer to Him.

As we return home, may we carry the joy, hope, and fire of this weekend into our parishes, schools, and communities. We'll see you at **AYC 2027**!

Wow. Last night was something different. ✨

Jesus was with us.

As thousands of teens processed through the streets of downtown Houston following our Eucharistic Lord, we witnessed a powerful reminder that Christ is alive and the Church is thriving. It was more than a procession. It was a public witness of our faith, a moment of prayer, and an encounter with the One who never stops walking with us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in proclaiming the name of Jesus. What a beautiful way to end the night.

What a way to end the night. ✨🙏

Over 2200 young Catholics took to the streets of downtown Houston, following our Eucharistic Lord in procession through Discovery Green. Together, we proclaimed our faith, witnessed to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ, and reminded the city that **the Church is alive.**

May everyone who saw the procession be reminded that Christ is still walking among His people, calling every heart to Himself.

Thank you to **Katie Villarreal** for sharing an inspiring keynote and to **Jackie** for her heartfelt youth witness. Through their words, we were reminded that God meets us where we are, calls us by name, and invites us to trust Him with every part of our lives.
