Some who know me well Know I like an eclectic mix of music. i like finding great musicians that may not have or get the recognition they deserve. This group I have enjoyed since their 2nd album came out called Eden Ally. Here is one simple song with great lyrics and blues style. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have through the years.

This week its meta-narrative week.

A meta-narrative is a coherent story that you can follow across a range of stories or time.

This is a BIG part of the Christian Bible, that is consistent, truthful 'narratives', meta-narratives across time, space and inspired scripture revelations.

Jesus talked a lot about marriage.

Mark starts out with John chapter 2 and it's where Jesus is at the marriage ceremony in Canaan and he does a miracle.

You remember how this story goes?

Mark will also cover some fasting passages, where Jesus talks about himself and the time to be joyous is when he, the 'bridegroom' is with you. Matthew will also cover the bridesmaids and the oil parable.

Today it's the Song of Solomon.

Mark uses whole wheat crackers sandwiches and the sexual attraction in the Song of Solomon in today's devotional.

This is a BIG part of the Christian Bible, that is consistent, truthful 'narratives', meta-narratives across time, space and inspired scripture revelations.

This week it is the meta-narrative of marriage in the Bible of the Israelites and God and at the wedding in the Sinai.

Today is the meta-narrative about God's continual wooing of his people even when they have said I do, but they don't.
