Sunday Antioch continued celebrating our HISTORIC 160th Church Anniversary with a CPR & AED Training after church service. This was designed to keep us all safe. Today marks the 23rd Anniversary of Pastor Lou’s ordination into the Ministry.
Pastor Lou’s journey reminds of the story of King David who was anointed as a teenager and was later in life, appointed as King. Pastor Lou was ordained in 2003 and it was later in his life that he was appointed Pastor, of Antioch in 2020.
Prior to David’s anointing, the Lord told Samuel this in 1 Samuel 16:7, “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the HEART.”
23 years ago, the Lord saw Pastor Lou’s heart. And if you know him and have spent a few minutes with him, you know that he has a heart for God and His people. Today we honor and celebrate him…. We love you Pastor Lou! Thank you for your service to the Lord and to His people.
