What if the greatest gift you could give someone today was simply to listen? In Matthew 12, Jesus reminds us that our words reveal what is truly in our hearts. Kingdom communication does not begin with our mouths -- it begins with our hearts.
James 1:19 gives us a clear pattern: be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. But the world trains us to do the exact opposite. As followers of Jesus, we should not just be known for having something to say -- we should be known as people who truly listen.
Love listens first. This week, try having just one conversation where your only goal is to understand the other person. That is where kingdom communication starts.
Join us as we continue our Kingdom Come series and explore what it means to communicate like Christ in a divided world.
