The Point Christian Outreach Ministries was birthed from a vision given by God to Cary L. This vision would encompass a multi-cultural ministry that would meet mankind at the point of their needs. Having pastored for 10 years prior, Apostle Baker was acquainted with the tasks and responsibilities of ministry. Being led by God's spirit to go to another dimension in ministry, he founded the Point Ch

ristian Outreach Ministries in 1999. The church began holding home bible studies which quickly outgrew its location. Identifying the needs of residents in Greenspoint (a community in Northwest Houston ) for a ministry of outreach and empowerment to all races,
the church began to hold services at the Best Western Hotel to make room for its continual growth. In its infancy stage, the ministry continued to increase, holding ministry services and evangelistic programs to reach local residents
In 2001, the church moved to the Hermitage Plaza Shopping Center on West Mount Houston Road to accommodate its continued expansion and outreach to the community. While the church’s meeting location has changed to accommodate a new season of ministry, the vision to reach all mankind remains the same. The ministry continues to experience tremendous growth and development while empowering lives for the glory of God.
