St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church The official page of St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Houston, Texas St. The first Mass was offered on June 1, 1941. The Society of St.

Peter the Apostle Catholic Church was established in 1941 by Bishop Christopher Byrne and placed under the pastoral care of the Missionary Fathers of Our Lady of La Salette. Our school opened in June 1942 with students from grades one through seven. During this period it was staffed by the Dominican Sisters. The La Salette Fathers served our parish until 1984. Joseph of the Sacred Heart (the Josep

hites) took up the pastoral leadership of St. Peter’s until September 30, 1997. On October 1, 1997, the Missionary Society of St. Paul (MSP), took over the pastoral care of St. Peter the Apostle. Peter’s continues to be under the pastoral care of the Missionary Society of St. Paul Priests.

Con corazones llenos de gratitud, damos gracias a Dios por la hermosa celebración en honor a **Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe**. Fue una noche verdaderamente llena de fe, tradición y comunidad.

Queremos agradecer de manera muy especial a nuestros **Líderes del Ministerio Hispano**, a **los Matachines de San Pedro Apóstol**, a **los Matachines Aztecas de San Pedro Apóstol**, y a todas las personas maravillosas que sirvieron en la Santa Misa. Gracias a quienes organizaron cada detalle de la celebración, a quienes con tanto amor cocinaron y sirvieron la deliciosa cena, y a todos los que ofrecieron su tiempo y talentos para hacer posible este evento tan especial.

Un agradecimiento muy especial a nuestro querido **Padre Enrique**, por su guía espiritual, su apoyo y su amor constante a nuestra comunidad.

Gracias también a toda nuestra **hermosa comunidad** que se reunió para orar, celebrar y honrar a nuestra Santísima Madre. Su presencia hizo esta celebración aún más significativa.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our **Hispanic Ministry Leaders**, the **Matachines of St. Peter the Apostle**, the **Matachines Aztecas of St. Peter the Apostle**, and to all the wonderful individuals who served during Mass. Thank you to everyone who organized this celebration, to those who lovingly prepared and served the delicious dinner, and to all who shared their time and talents to make this event so special.
