Words have power and God’s Word is all-powerful! Leisa Wilkins’ passion, purpose, and premise. God has commissioned her to encourage people in the Word of God. An awesome Bible teacher, preacher, and prayer warrior, Rev.

Leisa has answered God’s call by speaking Scriptural-based words of motivation and transformation into the lives of believers for over a decade. Leisa is the founder of the Encouragement in the Word Ministry, which is dedicated to building people up and helping them to walk in their God-ordained purpose. Encouragement in the Word Ministry uses Facebook as a medium where believers can post prayer requests, share praise reports, and encouraging words, based on the Word of God. She also has a ministry page on Facebook called Daily Encouraging Words by Leisa, where she shares words of encouragement, from the Word of God, to strengthen the reader throughout the day. Leisa is a published author who writes devotions, Scriptural-based faith confessions, and prayers that help believers firmly stand on the Word of God in all circumstances. Her published works, Encouragement in the Word Ministry Devotional, The Holy Week Devotional, and 31 Days of Encouragement released in May, 2021, provide readers with keys to unlocking their God-given potential and walking in their destiny. These devotionals emphasize the truth of God’s Word which is dynamic in its work in our lives, and in the lives of those in our sphere of influence. It's a fixed fight, we win! Leisa began her journey in ministry at, Covenant Glenn United Methodist Church, where she was the Director of Christian Education. While there, she developed and taught several Bible study classes. Her duties also included preaching and Church leadership. When she married, Michael, Rev. Leisa joined Kainos Community Church, in Katy, TX, later becoming an Associate Minister through their Rhema Ministry Licensing Program. She has written the church’s Prayer and Fasting Devotionals for seven years. Leisa also led the Discipleship arm of the Church, which included Christian Education, New Membership training and care, Support Groups, and the Health Initiative. In addition, she taught Bible studies for the church’s Disciples Life Institute. Leisa is an Associate Pastor, and member, of Impact Family Worship Center in Houston, TX where she preaches, teaches various Bible studies, encourages others through the Word, and writes devotionals for the Church. She is also a member of the Board of Directors. Leisa is a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel. She was licensed in 2008 and ordained in 2013. In August 2014 she was appointed Associate Pastor at Impact Family Worship Center. THE ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER with Pastor Leisa:

"Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it)." (Ephesians 3:20-21 AMPC)

REPEAT AFTER ME:

Lord, help me to elevate my level of expectation. I want to believe bigger. In You, there are no limits. With you my impossibilities become Your possibilities.

"But Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God." (Matthew 19:26 AMPC)

I trust God and I am anchored in His Word.

"I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted." (Job 42:2 AMPC)

No matter what you are facing, boldly make this declaration:

Abba, Father, I know You have not forgotten me. I am not alone in this because You are always with me. You continually show me Your love in so many ways. I believe in You, not my circumstances. I believe Your Word, not my thoughts or the words of others. I believe Your heart for me is to give me hope and a future. In this I stand with You.

Here's the Word of God to back up that declaration:

“Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you." (Isaiah 49:15 NASB)

For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 1:5 AMPC)

When you stand on God's Word, you're on a firm foundation because God watches over His Word to perform it, and His Word will not return to Him void.

"So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11 NASB)
