Oikos Church

Oikos Church Families on mission. Formed by Jesus. Sent to make disciples. We desire to be a family where everyone contributes and everyone is supported. Welcome to the Oikos!

Oikos Church is a family on mission together whose purpose is to help people experience Jesus and to make disciples who make disciples. We try our best to live life together as an oikos (an extended family through the blood of Christ) and are eager to join God's mission of redemption; to actively invest in the lives of others so that everyone we meet can experience Jesus and live life to the fulle

st. Oikos is men, women, children, families, singles, doctors, lawyers, plumbers, salesmen & women, musicians, artists, engineers, divorced, married, etc. No one family is the same, but we are all united in community together around the cross of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Our identity is communicated through our mosaic 'O' logo. We are all broken as individuals and as families, but we are drawn together as family around the unbroken cross of Jesus Christ, who gives new life and makes all things new. When gathered around the cross, our brokenness is made into something beautiful for God truly makes beautiful things out of the dust. We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00am at 522 Lindale, 77022 in Lindale Park area and throughout the week in our missional communities.

Somehow He loves us deeper than we could ever understand.
Not because we earned it. Not because we deserve it.
Just because that’s who He is. 🤍

“It’s extravagant. It doesn’t make sense…”
And yet His love never stops pursuing us.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the depth of courage and love. 🇺🇸

As we gather with family and friends, may we also pause to pray for military families, reflect with gratitude, and remember those who laid down their lives for others.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

From all of us at Oikos Church, we remember and honor you today. ❤️

MISSION SUNDAY — “BEING SENT”

Reminder: There will be NO worship gathering on campus this Sunday.

Instead, we’re being sent into our communities to live out the Oikos Pathway through presence, service, compassion, and relationship.

This is what church looks like beyond the building.

As we belong, hear, practice, live, and accompany others, we join in the mission of Jesus together.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

Only One is worthy of our praise. 🙌
No one compares to Jesus.
No one else deserves the glory.

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” — Revelation 5:12 ✨

This week, we’re slowing down and returning to the prayer Jesus taught us. 🙏
Take a few moments each day to pray the Lord’s Prayer and let it shape the way you trust, forgive, surrender, and love.
Don’t keep it to yourself—share it with someone this week and invite them to pray with you.
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10 ✨
