We survived life's most epic highs and lowest lows, united by our daughters' love for each other that started this beautiful master piece called friendship, our desire to serve God, our purpose (God's will for our lives, our families, and the world around us, all while maintaining our sanity... or what was left of it. We made it our mission to spread laughter, memes, and love wherever we went, because let's be real, the world, our families, and associates needed it, and so did we. Hand in hand with Kim and Joe, us 6 explored the world together, creating unforgettable memories and laughter that echoed until the next day, or until our stomachs and faces hurt... it was good. As sisters, we were each other's partner in crime, ohhhh the memories sigh, as we offered each other unconditional love, acceptance, and support, even when we drove each other crazy…We celebrated our unique bond, embracing our individuality and the vibrant colors of life, and by vibrant colors, I mean our ability to kill the matchie-matchie spirit to live free... We savored countless moments of joy, from virtual movie nights to comfortable silences, because sometimes silence is golden... and sometimes it was just because we were too tired to talk. We lifted each other up in prayer, sang old hymns-remembering our moms, and shared inspiring words, we were living our best lives. You were my sister, confidante, and friend... and partner in crime and shenanigans. The Bible reminds us that the greatest love is selfless and unwavering, When Cedric transitioned you listened and you never judged... you just rolled your eyes and said 'girlie you good ?' You told me over and over I wouldn’t lack anything...and God had a plan, but that's a whole different story…. because the plan was you being part of the plan. You will always be my girl, forever etched in my heart, and also forever etched in my phone's memory, because I'm never deleting our text and memes. Take your well-deserved rest.
