Sunday, August 25, 2013 was the last day Oasis Special Needs Ministry was open under the leadership of Salvador & Deborah Arrona along with the volunteer team of Demetria Martinez & Debbie Martinez. All four of us appreciate Elim Church for allowing us to serve special needs families in the southeast Houston area, the families that allowed us to serve them and their children and the volunteers that came in periodically and helped us serve our students over the last 4 years. The closure of Oasis Special Needs Ministry is indefinite until new leadership and volunteers are available. Thank you again for all your support.

SAVE THE DATE: Oasis will be CLOSED on Sunday, July 28th. Only 1 service is scheduled that morning at 10am as it will be the day our Senior Pastor Ron Nissen will retire and our Associate Pastor Mark Walker will officially become our new Senior Pastor of Elim Church. We encourage all our families, volunteers and staff to be in attendance to support the Pastoral staff that has supported Oasis Special Needs Ministry from the time it was a hope and need all the way through the fully functioning ministry it is today. We will be back to our regular routine Sunday, August 4th. Thank you!

ATTENTION Oasis Families: We just found out that today is Quarter Sunday and that means there will be no Oasis classes as it is an opportunity for our staff to rest and join the rest of our congregation during Sunday morning services. I'm truly sorry to give you all such short notice, but we just really did just find out when we arrived at church ready to serve. We will be back to our regular routine next Sunday the 14th. Have a blessed week!

Ideas floating around for our Oasis kids and their families are Vacation Bible School, sensory friendly movie meetups, local splash pad meetups, local accessible park meetups and maybe even a picnic (indoor or outdoor).
