WORDview Women

WORDview Women WORDview! A community of women who choose to view their world through God's written Word - we are IN the Word through the WORDview Bible reading method.

Everyone has a “worldview,” your set of values and beliefs about life and why it is the way it is. Ultimately it is your worldview that determines your behavior, decisions, habits, character and destiny. Wrong thinking produces wrong living, often with painful consequences. Our need is to develop an accurate worldview, and the only reliable source is the inspired, enduring Word of God, the Bible.

The real issue is your “WORD view.” Do you view life through God’s Word? Romans 12:2 says, “… be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” (NAS)

"There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man."—John 1:9

The first Christmas season was about the authentic Light-- Jesus--coming into the world. Isn't it interesting that we associate each Christmas season with light? Christmas lights, candles, lighted decorations. And light only appears against a dark background! Jesus came as the Light of God's existence, shining brightly against the dark background of this sinful world. He came to give the light of moral Truth to all, but only those who receive it, who receive Him by faith, will benefit by being born again as a child of God and by living in the Light. Sin is always associated with pain, misery, and loss. Walking in the Light rescues us from the dark world of sin.

Friend, the blessing of Christmas is the authentic Light Who shines His light upon our hearts and thoughts to guide us in truth and righteousness. May the Light of Christ Jesus shine upon your way this Christmas so that you may always walk with Him through this dark world.
