🔥 SERMON RECAP | REPRODUCED BY GRACE 🔥
There are some things in life that we would never choose to experience—but God has a way of taking the very things that hurt us, broke us, challenged us, and tested us and reproducing them by His grace for His glory and somebody else’s good.
This powerful message reminded us that our pain does not have to be wasted. Our struggle can become our testimony, our testimony can become our ministry, and our ministry can become somebody else’s lifeline.

🔥 THREE KEY TRUTHS
1️⃣ MY HURT IS MY HELP
What you survived may be the very thing God uses to help somebody else survive.
Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1 that the comfort God gives us in our afflictions is not intended to stop with us. We are comforted so that we can comfort others.
Your scars don’t disqualify you from ministry.
Your scars may actually give you the credibility to tell somebody:
“I know what it feels like—but I also know that God can bring you through!”
You may have experienced rejection, disappointment, betrayal, grief, church hurt, family struggles, financial hardship, or seasons when you questioned God.
But look at you now.
YOU SURVIVED IT!
And somebody needs to hear how you survived.

2️⃣ MY PAIN IS MY GAIN
Romans 5:3–5 teaches us that tribulation produces perseverance; perseverance produces character; and character produces hope.
There is a process attached to the pain.
➡️ Struggle produces endurance.
➡️ Endurance develops character.
➡️ Character produces hope.
➡️ Hope strengthens our faith.
We don’t always understand what God is doing while we’re in the process.
Sometimes we’re asking, “Lord, why me?”
But God may be asking, “Can I use you?”
The pain wasn’t necessarily proof that God had abandoned you.
Sometimes the pain was part of the process God was using to develop you, strengthen you, mature you, and prepare you.
Without the struggle, there is no endurance.
Without endurance, there is no proven character.
And without proven character, there is no testimony of what God can bring you through.
Your pain is temporary.
But what God develops in you through that pain can have eternal significance.

3️⃣ GOD CAN REPURPOSE WHAT WAS MEANT TO DESTROY YOU
Genesis 50:20 gives us one of the greatest declarations of divine purpose:
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good…”
Joseph’s brothers intended to destroy him.
They betrayed him.
They rejected him.
They sold him.
But what they intended for evil, God repurposed for good.
And eventually, Joseph found himself in a position where the very people who tried to destroy him needed the blessing God had placed on his life.
That’s a word for somebody:
Be careful how you treat people on your way up.
Because you never know who you may need on your way back down.
And you never know when the person you overlooked, rejected, wounded, or walked away from may become the person God uses to help you.
Joseph didn’t allow his pain to make him bitter.
He allowed God to make his pain better.
🙌🏾 THE TAKEAWAY
Your testimony is not just about what God brought you through.
It’s about who God intends to bring through because of what He brought you through.
Your story may become somebody else’s strength.
Your survival may become somebody else’s encouragement.
Your tears may become somebody else’s testimony.
Your scars may become somebody else’s evidence that healing is possible.
Your hurt can become somebody else’s help.
Your pain can become somebody else’s gain.
And what the enemy meant for your destruction, God can repurpose for your preservation and for the blessing of others.
✝️ AND IT ALL LEADS BACK TO THE CROSS
Jesus went to Calvary carrying the weight of our sin, suffering, rejection, and shame.
What looked like defeat became victory.
What looked like death became resurrection.
What looked like the end became the beginning of redemption.
That is grace!
And now, because of what Christ has done for us, God can take everything we’ve experienced—every battle, every disappointment, every tear, every setback—and use it for His glory.
🔥 REPRODUCED BY GRACE
I am not just what happened to me.
I am what God is producing through me.
My hurt is my help.
My pain is my gain.
My struggle is not wasted.
My testimony has purpose.
My story can help somebody else.
God is reproducing my life by His grace!
