🔥 DAY 6 OF 90: PRESENCE — LET HIM SPEAK

We’ve been learning how to enter His presence. Now we have to learn how to listen once we get there.

Prayer was never meant to be a monologue.

We can worship, pray, intercede, declare, ask, explain—and say Amen without ever becoming quiet enough to listen.

Jesus said:

> “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27, ESV

They hear. He knows. They follow.

Before we prepare to hear what the Father may say next, we need to become deeply familiar with what He has already said.

Today, slowly read John 10:22–30 twice. Then ask:

“Father, what does this passage show me about You?”

Write down what you see in the text. Then spend the final five minutes quietly before Him.

Don't strain to hear something.
Don't manufacture revelation.
Don't chase an experience.

And if nothing dramatic happens, nothing went wrong.

You're developing the posture Samuel learned:

“Speak, LORD, for your servant hears.” — 1 Samuel 3:9, ESV

Sometimes preparation for the Father's voice looks like becoming quiet enough to say:

I'm listening.

One of the major threats to sound biblical interpretation is confirmation bias. Confirmation bias causes us to use Scripture to validate what we ALREADY believe rather than allowing Scripture to SHAPE what we believe.

The Prophetic Ministry: A Catalyst for Faith, Not Personal Gain

Authentic prophetic ministry exists to reveal Jesus Christ bearing witness to His love, displaying His power, and declaring His faithfulness. The prophetic was never intended to exalt personalities or advance personal agendas, but to glorify Christ and cultivate genuine faith in His people.

We believe God is purifying the prophetic in this generation. He is cleansing it from the influences of greed, manipulation, control, and self-promotion, restoring it to its rightful purpose as a holy ministry that edifies the Church, bears faithful witness to Christ, and serves as a catalyst for authentic faith, repentance, and spiritual transformation.

Las Vegas, Nevada is on the heart and mind of the Lord!

The Lord desires to shake the region of Las Vegas for the advancement of the Kingdom. This shaking is also designed to prick the hearts of men with the goal of leading them to repentance and faith in Christ! The Lord desires to redeem Las Vegas from being known as “sin city” to a new identity called “Holy Nation.” This changing of the identity will take time and consistent collaborative efforts from churches in the city of Las Vegas. As churches make the choice to collaborate and evangelize the local population of Las Vegas, many souls can be saved. Las Vegas, God has not forgotten about you! God has a unique plan and purpose for you. To walk in this plan and purpose, Las Vegas you must turn to the Lord and forsake the ancient idols and ancient altars that have been serviced and erected for many years!

One of my greatest prayers is that repentance, revival, salvation, and supernatural awakenings will take place in Las Vegas, NV.

RELIGION VS RELATIONSHIP: IS CHRISTIANITY A RELIGION?

The statement, “Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship,” has become common in modern evangelicalism, but it does not fully reflect the biblical witness. Christianity is indeed a religion, yet it is unlike every religion that seeks to reconcile humanity to God through human effort. At its core, Christianity is the covenantal revelation of God in Jesus Christ, where reconciliation is accomplished by divine grace rather than human merit. The religious practices of the Christian faith such as worship, prayer, baptism, communion, and obedience are not the means of earning salvation but the visible expression of a life transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Theologically, Christianity demonstrates that true religion is the fruit of redemption rather than its foundation. The evidence of this true religion is unveiled in the fruit of the Spirit. Scripture does not reject religion; it rejects religion devoid of genuine faith and covenant relationship with God. In Christ, outward devotion becomes the performative expression of an inward reality, revealing that authentic religion is not empty ritual but a life shaped by the presence, power, and lordship of Jesus Christ.

Rather than demonizing the word religion, we must dedicate time to studying this matter from an unbiased perspective. We must avoid the temptation to engage in confirmation bias when studying this term but rather study the term from an objective perspective with the end goal of understanding what the Bible teaches as opposed to imposing our desired view on scripture.
